escolastica.com v. scholastic.net

A Mexican company uses the domain name escolastica.net and sells an Internet-based computer application to private schools in Mexico. The US based firm Scholastic, Inc., a leading seller of educational materials using scholastic.net, complained, and lost: consumers were unlikely to be confused by the domain names, a court ruled (Scholastic, Inc. v. Escolastica.com, 2004 U.S. App. LEXIS 11106 (4th Cir., June 7, 2004) unpublished).
A story that reminds the old dispute quepasa.com v. whatshappening.com !
