Will Iraqi sovereignty extend online?
The future of Iraq's TLD is still unclear. The domain assigned to Iraq, .iq, is stuck in a strange bureaucratic limbo: the company that had administered it is under U.S. criminal indictment [MSNBC; see also ICANNwatch and a post on this blog for other information]
