No more political parodies on whitehouse.com

The website whitehouse.com became famous when were posted parodical pictures of Monica Lewinsky and President Clinton "in action". This is the past, and Dan Parisi (a famous domain names multi-owner) removed pictures of candidates Bush and Kerry, the Washington Post reports.
He did so in order to be granted the trademark Whitehouse, the USPTO wanting to make sure visitors to his pornography site don't believe it was associated with President Bush's site, www.whitehouse.gov. But, seriously, is there a risk of confusion?
