Thanks to Bret Fausett for reporting that "Tajikistan has deleted all previously registered tj names and is now taking applications for the top level (.tj) extension. Currently only the .tj (TLD) level is available. .tj is unrestricted and is available on a first-come first-served basis."

[UPDATE - 5.25 pm] Apparently, the issue is not new and started in January this year.
