ccTLD news

From tomorrow, numeric .nl names can be registered, and new dispute resolution rules are applicable to all .nl domain names.

A new dispute resolution policy is also put in place in the .pe namespace. It is based on the UDRP, and administered by WIPO. Contrary to the UDRP, this procedure applies to domain names that are identical or confusingly similar to a trademark or service mark in which the Complainant has rights previously registered or "filed" in Peru, and it will be sufficient to prove that either registration or use of the domain name by the registrant occurred in bad faith.
